My name is Renee. I collect Smurf Figurines. I am a Smurf figurine Collector. I have a Smurf figurine collection.

The 80’s is where I spent my youth and “The Smurfs” was my favorite cartoon when I was 5,6, and 7. I remember trips the toy store with my older brother, picking out one Smurf every visit. I can still smell what a brand new Smurf used to smell like. It was a pretty distinct plastic smell. They smell different now I think…um…not that I go around sniffing Smurfs for fun or anything… :). Anyways I had about 30 Smurfs AND the Smurf carrying case. Fun stuff, until my other older brother was assigned to clean my room. He threw away the Smurf case with all Smurfs in it. Evil Gargamel brother.  

I guess I have kinda been trying to get my collection back ever since the late 90’s when I realized they still made and sold Smurfs. I have about 180 or so Smurfs now, which is more than what I had before. But not as huge as many of the awesome collections I have seen online. So since I spend a good amount of time, Smurfing around, I figure I would blog about it and share my Smurf collecting journey with the world. Why not?
